Stephanie Degrate (She/Her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor in Texas. Stephanie grew up in a small town in West Texas where she received her undergraduate degree in Social Work with a minor in Spanish and focus on Psychology from Abilene Christian University. Stephanie is fluent in Spanish and has worked in bilingual positions throughout her career. Stephanie values inclusion, diversity, social justice, and positive change & these values drive her to support the most vulnerable populations. Stephanie is EMDR-Certified, an EMDR Consultant-in-Training, and currently completing a DBT certification.  Stephanie has over two years experience supervision LMSWs and has a high success rate in preparing LMSWs for LCSW licensure.

These values directed Stephanie to relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 2011 where she received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas Arlington and continues to happily reside. Stephanie enjoys going to the gym, singing and music, and spending time with family especially watching crime documentaries. 

Stephanie enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults and she specializes in trauma, depression, anxiety, and more. She is certified in EMDR and a Consultant in Training.  She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy among others depending on the individual needs of each patient.  Beyond social work and therapy, Stephanie also works with Social Work Supervisees to nurture the next generation of social workers.
